Tippe Prayer and Worship
Come as you are.
|
Life-giving Sunday morning worship begins at 9:25 am. Well, make that Sunday morning experience of faithing...faith a verb. Not a set of ideas but a practicum of wise ways!
Tippe Cafe follows with fun, food, and fellowship. Then the morning continues with thought-full education classes for all! We host an Intergenerational Learning Experience as well as a Didactic Learning Experience each week. Nursery Care is provided throughout the morning. Tippe is an informal, intimate, spiritually aware congregation looking forward to your worshiping with us soon. And..we also have worshipful time Monday nights at 6:30 pm for Sanctuary Time of Belonging on Zoom |
Come early for coffee and conversation ahead of worship. Recapture a bit of "village life" in the midst of Bay View! Gather with others who enjoy connecting and unwinding... maybe even bring your breakfast! Then...up to worship!
As you enter our sanctuary your eyes will light upon little old ladies wearing pearls and gloves, bikers with tatoos and braids, men in shirts and ties or Packer sweatshirts, kids comfortable and in leadership, and our Pastor who sits among us and worships with us.
We gather at 9:25 am each Sunday morning throughout the year. We are air conditioned in the summer and warm and toasty in the winter. We have a hearing loop for those who would like to use it as well as a chairlift at the west side of our building. We open Sunday mornings together with community news. Then we transition into worship sharing in a sung mantra as the Bible and the Bread of Life are brought forward.
Our faithing time/worship is inclusive in nature and, within our Presbyterian forms, embraces many traditions. We are welcoming to both adult and child, old and young, churched and unchurched. Each week offers a fresh and personal message prompted by that Sunday's scriptures. As an open and affirming congregation, we strive to offer individuals moments of spiritual awareness, moments of "God's presence" for each one gathered. Each Sunday we are invited to light Prayer Candles during the Passing of the Peace as well as share in the breaking of "bread" together.
Please come and share yourself with us as we share with you.
