Advocacy: Our Voice for Justice
Shalom.... when we are at peace one with another, one with our world and creation, one with our God!
Shalom begins to happen as spirit and action become one.
Shalom happens where Tippe's faith lives out and YOUR deep held values
reach out!
At Tippe it is our experience that you really can't do one without the other...being spiritual without putting the spirit into action....or really practice the faith without holding what you do contemplatively. We call this Contemplative Justice and Mission Ministries!
Please take a look at us and at our offerings and know you are invited into the mystery of ministry with us!
Your ideas, interests, and energies matter to us. Please join us!

Reflective questions to ask yourself as you participate in outreach
1. What is the nudge I am feeling that prompts me to serve in this ministry?
2. What is the thing most needed at this time...in this ministry, within me? 3. How have I received during this time of outreach...in other words, how have I become the mission project? 4. What is God inviting me to do or be or know or become that is just about and just for me through this experience? 5. What is the prayer that is rising up within me? 6. How can I remember this in ways that are life-giving to my daily choices? |
Brave Places Letter Writing/Calling
Sponsored by Tippe Faithing Community (Tippecanoe Church)
Pat, Mark, and Pastor Karen
Where: Your Living Room
About:
When times are tough it can be tempting to retreat into our safe spaces or bubbles, but we need to make our voices heard. This is a group to help hold us accountable for contacting our legislators about issues we care about. Not a group with a political position, not an attempt to get lots of letters on any one topic, not a group for discussion or debate, but support to help us actually write those letters and make those calls. Please be in touch with Pastor Karen at [email protected].
Please pray and consider making yourself this pledge:
Aware of suffering and injustice, I, _________, am working to create a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world. I promise, for the benefit of all, to practice self-care, mindfulness, healing, and joy. I vow to not burn out.
