We Welcome Rev. Trish Eckert As Tippe's Head of Staff!

Joyful Greetings to the beloved community at Tippe! I cannot wait to meet you all and join alongside you in being as well as doing. The times we are living in are not just challenging - we are navigating a period of relentless change and upheaval. I am mindful of the grief and transition in which we are
all immersed. You are walking faithfully together and living into the joy and the pain of change, journeying together in their spirituality, engaging in action that is inspired and nurtured by that spirituality is at the heart of what
I am a life-long learner and seeker. My undergraduate studies (English, Sociology, Religion) led to a career in social work, which expanded into educational and mental health settings. At mid-life I sought a graduate degree that would embrace wholeness and meaning-making with other - this led me to seminary where I earned a degree in the Ministry of Writing, and then entered campus ministry and pursued a Master of Education that focused on spiritual discernment approaches. After a decade among undergraduates, I felt called to enter the pastorate, and have been serving a Quaker meeting (church) in the Finger Lakes region of New York since 2017. I am an avid reader and I love to travel! I turn to music and art, words and poetry for inspiration, sustenance, comfort, and insight. I greatly enjoy singing, hiking, dancing, and I listen ardently to a wide range of music.
I look forward to being among you. I deeply appreciate the warm welcome and support
I have received from Tippecanoe already.
