Tippe Kids and Teens
A Caring Place to Grow!
Children, tweens, and teens are important to us! Our children are a welcome and integral part of our worship on Sunday mornings. Our Children's Ministry offers children the opportunity for their own fellowship times as well as significant participation in the full life of the church through worship leadership, outreach opportunities, and intergenerational events (such as the All Church Picnic, Christmas Caroling, Sharing the Light of Christmas, and our Easter Egg Hunt). Family Ministries make available to young and mature families alike activities that grow relationship and provide faith-filled fun. __________ We use Progressive Christianity's Joyful Path and Godly Play as a curriculum and guide for our education with our children and teens.
_____________________ Children's Wisdom Circle
1st and 3rd Sundays: Wisdom Circle for Children and Youth. Building on the strengths of an intergenerational approach, we will support needs of our children and youth with break out groups...as we reflect together on the Bible Wisdom Teachings. Our Nursery will continue to care for our littlest ones throughout the morning. Other Sundays we so want our children to be with us for all of worship as they build relationships, offer leadership, reflect and pray with us! Nursery Care provided. Family Fellowship: We will post these as the year unfolds. Several whole church intergenerational gatherings are offered each year as well...like Christmas Caroling! Thanks to the Mayor's Office! And we had so much fun! |
Children Learn What They Live
If children live with criticism, They learn to condemn. If children live with hostility, They learn to fight. If children live with fear, They learn to be apprehensive. If children live with ridicule, They learn to be shy. If children live with shame, They learn to feel guilty. If children live with tolerance, They learn to be patient. If children live with encouragement, They learn confidence. If children live with praise, They learn to appreciate. If children live with approval, They learn to like themselves. If children live with acceptance, They learn to find love in the world. |
