At Tippe kids and teens matter! They are involved in all aspects of our community life.
Some teach, some lead worship, some serve in Tippe Cafe and, most importantly, serve in our outreach ministries as well.
And we follow their lead...not competing for their attention! So, no regularly scheduled youth group or gatherings. Instead, interest based activiites are shaped each season.
Education is offered kids and teens each Sunday Morning during the program year.
Our teens regularly participate in Interfaith Youth Cafes.

February 14, 2010 The Sikh community "Love among generations" Inter-generational dialog... at this cafe, we are deliberately going to ask for different faith communities to bring people from several generations -- not just teens, but also more mature adults.
November 22, 2009 Islamic Society of Milwaukee "Reconciliation" Forgiveness, apology/repentance, making things right after a wrong...
We also hope to begin a service day during the summer of 2010

How can we educate and nurture young people in our own faith communities while preparing them for encounters in a pluralistic society? It's a good question. There are more religious young people in the world than ever before, and they are interacting with increasing frequency..... The answer is at the heart of what we do at IFYC.

Youth Interfaith Cafe & Service Retreat April, 2007 With teens of all faiths from across the city we gathered a round a theme of ecology...cafe style! And with our sisters and brothers of the SE Milwaukee Interfaith Covenant Community, we joined togehter for fun and mission! Getting to know ourselves better as we came to know others better.
